Description

The Award in Education and Training is intended for those who require an introductory, knowledge-based teaching qualification, which can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching/training role, or for those who are currently teaching/training. For example, this could be in a private training provider, the uniformed services, the workplace, or in community organisations and the voluntary sector.

It is designed for the education sector, private training industry and self-employment and covers the generic teaching skills that are required in becoming an effective teacher/trainer.

Our four-day AET programme is accredited by TQUK, following their Level 3 Award in Education and Training - Qualification Specification.

    Our Courses are delivered via a live virtual classroom, meaning you can join from anywhere while still engaging in interactive sessions with your teacher and peers. You’ll also complete assignments and theory into practice with ongoing teacher support.

    Yes, it is an Ofqual Regulated Qualification (RQF), fully accredited course.

  • Does the qualification expire?

    No, the qualification is yours for life and does not need to be renewed once achieved.

  • How long does the certificate take to process after I have completed the course?

    The certificate takes up to 10 working days to process and will be emailed to the learner and the course point of contact.

  • Will I receive a hard-copy of my certificate?

    You will receive an e-certificate. Hardcopy are available upon request.  

  • Do I need any prior qualifications or experience to enrol?

    No prior experience or qualifications are required.

  • How is the course assessed?

    Assessment takes place through a combination of written tasks, reflective activities, and practical evidence. Creating a Online Portfolio of Evidence. 

  • What can I teach after the Level 3 Award in Education & Training?

    You can teach any course, subject or qualification that you hold yourself.

  • What career opportunities are available after the Level 3 AET course?

    There are many career opportunities once you have achieved the Level 3 AET course. Some of the most popular progression routes following the AET course involve becoming: a First Aid Trainer, Freelance Trainer, College Teacher, In-House Trainer, Training company manager.
