Description

The Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring is intended for those who require a more extensive qualification, this qualification gives a broader knowledge of coaching and mentoring skills, focusing on coaching and mentoring relationships, operational processes and evaluation techniques.

This will support learners in the development of both their theoretical and practical knowledge in coaching and mentoring, and reflective practice required to be an effective supervisor of coaches or mentors. It is suitable for teachers who wish to broaden their knowledge of coaching and mentoring.

Our five-day CCM programme is accredited by TQUK, following their Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring - Qualification Specification.

This Qualification was developed in conjunction with Essential Teaching UK.

    Our Courses are delivered via a live virtual classroom, meaning you can join from anywhere while still engaging in interactive sessions with your teacher and peers. You’ll also complete assignments and theory into practice with ongoing teacher support.

    The certificate takes up to 10 working days to process and will be emailed to the learner and the course point of contact.

  • Will I receive a e-certificate or hard copy?

    As part of our commitment to keeping course fees as affordable as possible for our learners and partner colleges, while also supporting our sustainability goals, we have updated the way we issue certificates. From the start of this academic year, all learners will receive an e-certificate as standard. If a printed hard copy is required, this can be requested for an additional fee.

  • Do I need any prior qualifications or experience to enrol?

    No prior experience or qualifications are required.

  • How is the course assessed?

    Assessment takes place through a combination of written tasks, reflective activities, and practical evidence. Creating a Online Portfolio of Evidence. 

  • How is this course assessed?

    Assessment is through written assignments, reflective journals, and evidence of coaching/mentoring practice. You’ll also need to complete a set number of logged hours with coaching/mentoring clients.

  • What level of experience do I need before starting?

    You should have prior experience in coaching or mentoring, either formally or informally. Many learners progress from the Level 3 Award/Certificate, but equivalent experience is also accepted.

  • How long does it take to complete?

    Typically, the course takes between 3–6 months depending on your pace of study and the opportunities you have to complete practical coaching/mentoring sessions.

  • What recognition does this qualification carry?

    The Level 5 Certificate is widely recognised by employers and professional bodies across education, training, and workplace development. It demonstrates advanced capability in coaching and mentoring practice.
