Description
The Award in Education and Training is intended for those who require an introductory, knowledge-based teaching qualification, which can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching/training role, or for those who are currently teaching/training. For example, this could be in a private training provider, the uniformed services, the workplace, or in community organisations and the voluntary sector.
It is designed for the education sector, private training industry and self-employment and covers the generic teaching skills that are required in becoming an effective teacher/trainer.
The online Teacher Supported AET programme is accredited by TQUK, following their Level 3 Award in Education and Training - Qualification Specification.

How long does the certificate take to process after I have completed the course?
The certificate takes up to 10 working days to process and will be emailed to the learner and the course point of contact.
Will I receive a e-certificate or hard copy?
As part of our commitment to keeping course fees as affordable as possible for our learners and partner colleges, while also supporting our sustainability goals, we have updated the way we issue certificates. From the start of this academic year, all learners will receive an e-certificate as standard. If a printed hard copy is required, this can be requested for an additional fee.
Do I need any prior qualifications or experience to enrol?
No prior experience or qualifications are required.
How is the course assessed?
Assessment takes place through a combination of written tasks, reflective activities, and practical evidence. Creating a Online Portfolio of Evidence.
