Description

The Certificate in Education and Training is intended for those who to teach in a wide range of contexts. For example, this could be in a college, a prison, a private training provider or the workplace.

This qualification is suitable for individuals applying for a role within any of the above teaching environments, however, if successful some employers will offer you the opportunity to complete the Diploma in Teaching (DiT) after completing your probationary period (See our DiT programme).

Our six-days over six-months CET programme is accredited by TQUK, following their Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training - Qualification Specification.

    No, the qualification is yours for life and does not need to be renewed once achieved.

  • How long does the certificate take to process after I have completed the course?

    The certificate takes up to 10 working days to process and will be emailed to the learner and the course point of contact.

  • Will I receive a e-certificate or hard copy?

    As part of our commitment to keeping course fees as affordable as possible for our learners and partner colleges, while also supporting our sustainability goals, we have updated the way we issue certificates. From the start of this academic year, all learners will receive an e-certificate as standard. If a printed hard copy is required, this can be requested for an additional fee.

  • Do I need any prior qualifications or experience to enrol?

    No prior experience or qualifications are required.

  • How is the course assessed?

    Assessment takes place through a combination of written tasks, reflective activities, and practical evidence. Creating a Online Portfolio of Evidence.
