Description

The Diploma in Teaching (FE and Skills) is intended for those who teach learners aged 14 and above in various locations and settings. For example, this could be in a college, a prison, a private training provider, the uniformed services, the workplace, or in community organisations and the voluntary sector. It prepares trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts and requires observation and assessment of practice.

The TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Teaching replaces the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. The diploma qualification is comparable to the Certificate in Education (CertEd) and the Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

This qualification is based on the Occupational Standards from the Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship.

Our twelve-day over twelve-months Initial Teacher Training programme is accredited by TQUK, following their Diploma in Teaching - Qualification Specification.
